Welcome to Steam Mill Lodges

Escape to Steam Mill Lodges, an adults-only retreat nestled in the heart of the National Forest on the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire borders.

Our collection of beautifully designed lodges offers the perfect setting for romantic escapes, anniversaries, birthdays or simply time away together. Every lodge features a private undercover hot tub, with many also offering unique extras such as private saunas, outdoor baths, pool tables, fire pits, and stunning countryside or lake views.

Booking Calendar – Important Information

Standard Check-in Days

  • Monday to Friday

    • Minimum Stay Requirements

  • Monday to Thursday – 1-night stays available
  • Friday arrivals – Minimum 2-night stay
  • Weekend bookings – Minimum 2-night stay with check-in on Friday

    • Non-Standard Check-in Days

  • Sunday arrivals are occasionally available, subject to availability and staffing levels
  • Any non-standard check-in dates that become available will be announced on our social media channels

    • Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in: Between 4:00pm and 7:00pm.
  • Early Check-in: Available from 2:00pm as an optional extra, subject to availability.
  • Check-out: By 10:00am

    Booking Information

  • Adults-only (18+)
  • A £100 non-refundable deposit secures your booking.
  • The remaining balance is due 6 weeks before arrival.
  • Bookings made within 6 weeks of arrival require payment in full.
  • A £150 pre-authorisation security deposit is required before arrival. This is a temporary hold on your card and is automatically released following your stay, provided no damage or breaches of our Terms & Conditions have occurred.

    • Dog Friendly Lodges

    Dogs are welcome in Spindle, Maple and Oak Lodges only. Additional charges apply.
